Objectives and challenges

Dynamic internal communication – this is a key communication objective for WACKER in Burghausen. However, target-group-oriented information has been difficult at the site up till now. The possibility for dialogue was not fully developed. The objective therefore was to bring the different groups closer together and develop the right tools to achieve this aim. Assessment of existing tools was also to be facilitated through the use of checklists and matrices and their efficiency was to be enhanced. Together with newly developed tools, these form the basis of a comprehensive strategy. The company has already positioned itself excellently for crisis communication. For this purpose, WACKER can resort to detailed concepts and checklists.

Measures and actions

Review the current communication pathways, assess communication channels, create an assessment system for communication measures and channels, develop new communication tools, define points of contact where as many employees and target groups as possible can be reached, define opinion-leader groups, implementation planning and consultancy taking into account the group's requirements and site guidelines.
