At VERTILAS, the name says it all. The company produces long-wave vertical-emitting laser diodes (VCSEL, Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Lasers) for sensor and measurement technology and optical communication technology. Alongside its other high-quality products, VERTILAS GmbH is now offering laser diodes with wavelengths of 1200 to 2300 nanometres. One of the company's key advantages is its cost-efficient manufacture of laser diodes. These have a wide range of industrial uses, as the semiconductor lasers boast outstanding features for diverse spectroscopic applications. Applications include the automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries. In environmental terms, the lasers can help increase quality and safety. They enable measurement of various gases e.g. methane, carbon dioxide or ammonia even under the most difficult conditions. The founder of the company was awarded the prestigious Karl Heinz Beckurts prize in 2004 for this innovation.
Objectives
VERTILAS first started strategic PR work in 2004. The main objective therefore is to raise the company's profile at a national and international level. Further objectives include:
- Position the company as a technological pioneer in the long-wave surface-emitting laser diode sector
- Explain and describe the complex technology in a clear and straightforward language
- Sales support for new products and services
